Picpoul (translates as 'lip stinger') is grown around Southern Rhône and Languedoc. Before phylloxera, Picpoul was widely planted and consumed; currently, it is used primarily in as a single varietal in the appellation of Pinet. Perdu is 100% Piquepoul grown in a cool, dry terroir near Mediterranean lagoons from which sea spray washes over the vines.

Caroline Morin made just 180 cases on Domaine Morin Langaran, a 700-year old property that's been in the family since the early 1800s. Flavor Profile: Medium-bodied, dry. Acidity with a bright sparkle punctuates fresh cut green fruit, lime, fennel, flowers, and minerals.

Really nice concentration for a Picpoul. Great with fish, raw bar, paella, or as a summer aperitif. See if you can taste the sea breezes and oyster shells.
